Our Story

Reading Buddies is the delightful show that combines the science of reading with laughter and friendship to make foundational literacy accessible to all kids. 

Our award-winning, teacher endorsed programming: 

• Empowers all kids, including kids whose second language is English and those with reading disabilities. 

• Promotes skills like phonological awareness, letter names and sounds, and more.

The show features the kind and helpful, Dott, and her hilarious and curious talking dog Dusty. Each episode takes us on Dusty’s journey to learn how to read. Along the way they’re helped by the shape-shifting robot Alphabott, two gregarious gnomes and the real kid Alphabotteers. Join us as Dusty collects different Alphabadges that mark his progress in learning to read. And because our Reading Buddies mash up friendship with phonics and kindness with comprehension, we’re sure your little buddies will be inspired to learn to read.
